I said exactly the same many moons ago. The deal between the clubs has nothing to do with the players.

 

I'm sure they do Park but I'm pretty sure the conversation will be focused on what's in it for the player, not what their former club could stand to gain a few years down the line.

 

But his agent will not have been involved in the deal between the two clubs. His agent will have dealt with his contract. The two clubs, and their agents, will have sorted out the details between themself

Also it seems common sense to me that we would have one as we always did under Lawn and Rhodes, even for the likes of Devante Cole. And it is common at all levels of professional football in England, but apparently some would rather believe a stranger who only posts on this subject, than the club. I suggest it's them you address.

 

How do you know more than actual people involved with the club at the time of the deal and journalists from both local newspapers. Spill the beans. If there are any.

 

Yes, fair enough and just before your reply to me, he confirmed again. I just recall something at the time of the deal, that because a large fee had been paid, we’d reserved the right to any sell-on. Can’t recall if it was on the radio or in the T&A.

Anyway, besides the point now. Roger has confirmed he was on the board and a sell-on agreed. @wetherbywhaler, what is the percentage and is this on the total transfer or the profit? Did we receive anything from his loan to Barnsley?

Will he pocket it, as it has been quoted many times Rupp will have covered our £2/3 m shortfall.

 

I imagine @Yorkshire baller is simply mistaken, rather than outright lying.

 

I posted similar about @Yorkshire baller and asked if he was a relative or Ollies agent but no comment, one thing for sure if there is a sell on clause it will be the last we hear of him as he doesn't seem to have an opinion on anything else football wise.
