Wimbledon Home - 04.05.

I'd be quite happy to see Wimbledon win and at least see some elation on fans faces, even if it isn't ours. For the run they've put in at the back end of the season when they were adrift like we are now, then they deserve to stay up.

 

We need to finish the season on a win regardless of this disastrous season. I have no affinity with Wimbledon, or any of the teams. I never ever want another team to beat us!!

 

Last 7 away from home for Wimbledon.

Unbeaten, 4 wins and 3 draws, 4 clean sheets.

Away win.

 

Am not going because I have a better offer. I hope city get dicked 5 nil..

The only down side to me not going is to watch our fans turn nasty on these players and give hell at the end.

normally I'd agree, but in the context of how abysmally poor we've been and the players attitudes to the fans the guys justified to be that angry.

 

Everybody is entitled to their opinion regarding attending the last game. Giving them abuse at the end of the game is also down to the individual, it may make some supporters feel like they have got something off their chest.
At the end of the day although the players collectively and most individually have been poor they aren't stupid. They know they have under performed. Some will still be here next season, some still under contract some offered new contracts.
I know some fans won't like that but it's down to Gary Bowyer's judgement but now at least they will be his decisions as manager and not head coach. We need to trust him and move on.

 

Good luck to them, rather them stay up then Scunthorpe/Plymouth. How many we reckon will still be there come FT? Think I'll be off after 40 mins, can't see more than 5000 there to boo them off at the FT whistle

so is the club going to provide the rotten fruit and veg to throw at the players or do we have to bring our own ?

Then just to top it off.. our chav support and their 45+ year old dads will do a pitch invasion to the chorus of "Bottom of the league you must be proud!"

 

After the amazing fight Wimbledon have put up I can't help but wish them all the best.

After the abysmal season we've had I'm not fussed about going out on a win as this team just don't deserve cheering off at the end. It would be way too little too late.

That said there is NO WAY I would boo them off no matter what. I'm just writing it off as a bad memory and hoping we can get the negativity out of the team and out of the club for next season.

I can't disagree apart from finishing on a wining note which all teams want to do does it really matter if Wimbledon make it 28 defeats in a season against 27, I hope we win but no big deal if we don't.

 

Agree on the final whistle I'l be making my way out and back to the car.

Totally agree. I’m considering leaving at half time at latest. Probably stay till then as my dad will have brought pies and coffee

 

Most of the players on show tomorrow have played little part in this abysmal season
