Until travel etc. returns to normality it looks like I'll be stuck on this side of the pond. But I have also been struck down by a severe attack of g.a.s. -- fellow musicians will know the condition, serious and incurable -- and so my travel money for the year has somehow morphed into a(nother) guitar, a keyboard amp, various new pedals, and other bits and bobs needed for playing and recording...

With a 28% rise in cases and the virus rising sharply across Europe i fear we could be back in the grip of it again soon which could scupper the restart

 

Not sure about the start behind closed doors been affected. But I have a horrible feeling that we wont be allowed in the stadiums until next spring.

I know, it's a worry, yet some, or one in particular on here, think we should be splashing the cash like Salford in the transfer market

 

I think most realise Salford are a one off, Lim is a multi billionaire with fellow board member from the famous 92 squad at Man Utd, I personally don't see what they hope to achieve at Salford, if they got into the Championship with the club being where it is they would always have to rely on Lim & co to finance the club.
Surely they don't think they could compete with either of their Manchester rivals, I realy dont see the point Lim would have been better sinking his brass into a club with potential .

Think that is just based on everything else we have been two weeks or so behind Europe

 

when Leicester went back on lockdown and everyone was thinking we would be next we weren’t any higher than currently. We have bounced along at a similar level whilst other places have gone up and down

 

I don't think the government has any intention of getting crowds back in October.

Come October it will be moved to November the December then next year

 

Think I read somewhere that snooker will be used as a pilot to host a tournament with fans soon. Would be interesting to see how that went seen as it’s indoor and higher risk
