I thought (this is where the confusion comes in) that if you bought a Season Ticket it came with an i-Follow pass.

Here is the press release, “Plans have, as a result, been put in place which could see ‘City For All’ 2020/21 season tickets back on sale in the coming weeks. Those purchasing a season ticket would be able to attend approximately half of City’s 2020/21 remaining home Sky Bet League Two fixtures.

The club hopes to include an iFollow season pass within the new-look package, enabling supporters to watch at least all of the Bantams’ home Sky Bet League Two matches - live from the comfort of their own home.” https://www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk/news/2020/august/city-for-all-202021-season-ticket-update/

Now I may have mis read that, but it seems to imply buy a Season Ticket, get the i-Follow thrown in.

Are you saying I have to buy something else?

I can't see that being the case...No chance.

Why would I follow agree to that unless the EFL are paying them a load of money.

Wasn't it £10 a match to watch on Ifollow last time? Plus are clubs like Mansfield charging £300 for a season ticket?

Confused...I can't see Ifollow been thrown in.

That should become clear in a week or so if the i follow part isn’t a goer then they will have to be a rethink

I have not made the quote up! The link is there. https://www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk/news/2020/august/city-for-all-202021-season-ticket-update/

I Just want the club to clarify the situation.

I would guess that i-follow may want subscriptions, as they then have more bargaining power to sell advertising?

The more people watching, increases their ability to sell their product to the market?

What happens if we go back in lockdown which is a high possible. Other countries starting too and the way Leeds Rd was today when it won't be long until Bradford is.

It's like risking your money at the casino. Struggling why anyone would buy a season ticket at this moment.

so again its confusing , if ifollow is only a percentage of home games.

in the statement why do they use the word remaining i dont see what it adds other than to say the fixtures might not even happen but again i think they have worded it poorly.

‘Those purchasing a season ticket would be able to attend approximately half of City’s 2020/21 remaining home Sky Bet League Two fixtures‘

The I follow bit isn't in city's hands at the moment. That's why they can't be any more definite about what that part entails.

But these things change by the hour never mind the day you just argue for the sake of arguing like Rod put about the pass for iFollow you said no chance how do you know what deals have been done? Do sky ring you to ask if its OK to do these things ? Does every decision in the UK have to be run by you to get your approval? You know as much as the next man but like to think your ahead of everyone else.

    Spoon!

For no two legged semi finial in the Mickey mouse cup it cost 25m for the PL/EFL etc.

3pm games for a season will cost the EFL/PL a hell of a lot of money. Sky have said no 3pm at the moment and yes that can change. Ifollow don't own the rights for weekend matches.

The season for the September start is down to the tv contract. It costs to brake the contract! You seem to think every is easy!

And then people moan that there is no communication from the club?

Honestly, what is wrong with people? It's just a starting point until all the other factors involved allow them more certainty.

You seem to think everything is easy!

The critical word in the club's press release appears to be 'hopes', ie 'the club hopes to include an iFollow season pass ..'.It doesn't say that the club 'will' include an iFollow pass as yet. I suspect that until some agreement has been reached with Sky, the holders of Saturday broadcasting rights, that's all the club's intentions can be .. a hope. I doubt they can say any more than that until the EFL reaches an agreement with Sky. That's simply the reality of the current situation.

The art of communication is not to deliver poor communication.

Using words like HOPE and APPROXIMATELY isn't communicating in the right way to a vast audience!

    You're smarter than this!

At the minute they are hoping and approximating because it isn't in their hands. They're waiting for the others to make decisions that they can't control. It's accurate communication.

You're spending half your posts telling people of the complexity and outstanding issues with the EFL and Sky and then the other half of your posts saying that the club should give definitive answers on all issues. The two can't match up. Think.

I understand the complexity and outstanding issues with the EFL and Sky but the club should've just said that.

"Talks are on going with Sky, Ifollow and the EFL over the tv package and until we have a firm outcome then we will discussing an options with you"

You don't need to just put a load of words out there when you don't have the answers as it just gets confusing.

To me it's very simple. If City were against the cap it's because they spent more than the cap. We will have a poor team this year as a result of the cap and existing contracts and someone wil pocket the spare cash. That someone ruined our club. As a result, in true Duncan Ballantyne style "I'm out".

Everything is confusing in this day and age. Everyone wants to be confused by something by the looks of it.

That is basically what the statement says.
