It's almost as if someone has seen an opportunity to form a consortium and get the club on the cheap?

Very good article on WOAP this morning. Think everyone needs to think very carefully about what is best for the future of the club, both immediate and long-term. While everyone is justified in their anger, there is a very vocal minority letting their emotions run away with them. We need the vast majority of intelligent and sensible fans to take a measured approach and rein in the small minority.

Interesting that WOAP mentions Rahic has accepted he needs to take a step back. Let's hope this translates into better results. At the moment I think that's what we should focus on as fans, support the team and the new manager.

We just have to give the team and Hopkin our support. In doing that will not let Rahic off the hook, it means we as a group of fans are being more responsible than he is. If he has changed his behaviour and plans, then that is something to celebrate and he needs to communicate that publicly.

The WOAP article penned by Jason McKeown you refer to, is the best piece I've ever read on there, or anywhere for that matter, relating to Rahic and the way fans feel about the running of the club.
A very good measured article well worth a read

If Rahic can accept he's made mistakes then we might finally start to make progress. Even he isn't stupid enough to realise alienating the majority of your fan base is a good idea. I know there are hard decisions to make in football club ownership, a lot of them won't go down well with the supporters, but when you make a pair of complete pair of novices a football management team after two experienced heads struggled with the set up, and it goes tits up after 6 games, don't expect the fans to just shrug their shoulder when you tell the fans you were trying something different.
I'm now sat at the last chance saloon, i'm prepared to give Hopkin the time to build what he sees as his own squad, this season is already a write off because we are so behind we might as well be in the first week of pre season. But Rahic needs to start showing me he is finally learning from his blatant mistakes, if i see what i see as being more fundamental errors of judgement rather than sensible business accumen i'll walk away until he has left. I always believe in giving people a chance to correct themselves, if they are prepared to listen to advice and use it wisely. Not all advice is good, there are plenty of billy bullshitters out there, but no one wants Rahic to fail on purpose.

I think this is deserving of its own thread, so I have copied over the posts on the 'Daily Star' thread, that refer to it.

A good read. We have endured so much rhetoric, innuendoes and suspicion embroiled in Chinese whispers, that I long for our FOOTBALL to do the talking..to me THIS is all that's relevant now.

The designated support/silence is an interesting one. Only problem I see, is which minute it starts. 56 obviously, 4 (Stuarts number) will be supported by some, bla bla bla...
Main problem is, that Edin is very thick skinned. Would he even care - would it even make him more determined if he "hears" 5 mins of silence? As for him bringing in someone to link his role between the club and the fans, again, in my mind he thinks he's doing no wrong. Can't see it happening.

Edin is anything other than thick skinned. Judging by him his interviews, the criticism and hate has hurt him and hurt him dearly.

I agree. There's almost two lines to it - the owners and the team. Unfortunately, they obviosuly overlap because the owner has sorted the players for the team! However, I'd favour different stratgies - let's get behind the team as much as possible. If they're putting a shift in then let's cheer them on. The strategy for the owner needs to be different, clearly!

Ok “thick skinned” might have been the wrong analogy. Stubborn, headstrong, arrogant, ignorant, delusional, should have been used instead :)

No need for the R word thrown in, other than that a good article.
Personally too much under the bridge and they can't change, it's not in their nature.
Very quickly get us back to a play-off final and I'll start to mellow with them, until such time, I'll vocally try and convince them to depart.

If Edin is serious about the future of Bradford City he needs to be interviewed by the likes of Jason.

I would prefer Herr Rahic to be interviewed by select members of Bantams Talk, in truth. No holds barred then, huh ?

What good would it do. Whatever answers he gave a percentage of fans would not believe him.

You are perfectly right of course, but there again, a percentage of what he actually said could be unbelievable.

You need to stand back and take a pragmatic view. Our club has been going backwards since they arrived. The fans have an absolute right to hear what has gone wrong and how they aim to put it right. We might get relegated this season, and unfortunately that is not a dramatic statement. So whether fans believe him or not they have to put an effort in. They can’t hide there is no hiding place, it is not for them to judge whether communication with the fans will be well received or not. They have to raise a positive profile and they need to consider being interviewed by radio, newspapers or both however painful that might be.
