Who will win the playoffs?

IF we get past Carlisle, Stockport will absolutely muller us at Wembley.

 

What’s with all the love in for Stockport, they’re shite

 

You are making them out to be Real Madrid!! They may well turn us over but equally we may do the same to them. It's about who plays well on the day and probably with a bit of luck thrown in. I really don't get the view that says we'd have no chance against Stockport. They finished 3 points ahead of us. Thats all!
Anyway, all that's irrelevant for now as we have to get past Carlisle 1st!

 

I hope it’s us vs Salford in the final. Would be an amazing atmosphere. I reckon they could bring up to 300 fans with them.

Playoffs are a lottery, and there's nothing between the 4 sides really. Apparently Carlisle are in poor form and have a few injuries and suspensions.

 

I think Wembley is all about who wants it the most. Let’s hope it’s us if we are lucky enough to get there

 

Looking at the crap clubs that have come down, I really, really, really hope we can get over the line.

Carlisle are on garbage form, and yes, like people are saying, Salford City at Wembley would be ideal!

They're not as good as Stockport, but they did draw their recently... could they spring a surprise?!

Stockport have lost just 1 in 20, but I prefer City so I'd like to change my vote please! Hahaha, good lad Plats, and great to have you back mate.

 

They are a lottery which is why success this year was top 3. Home form killed that dream. We could still go up but it's not likely.

 

None of the four are in scintillating form.

Clearly, they were all as 'nervous' as we were (although I think in the end we adapted well, against easily the best team I've seen this season)

If all teams play as well as they can, then you'd expect us v Stockport in the final - but here I give Stockport marginally the edge.

I think Carlisle's injury's have affected them more than the other three and I think they are the 'easiest' of the three. But still tough of course!!

I'm with you, about how good Stockport are. But they've occasionally fluffed their lines, when the attention has been on them this season.

Very difficult to call, which is why there's just three points between the four clubs and poor Mansfield!! However, we've been very good, results wise, in most of the big matches - so maybe that helps.

Incidentally, we are third in the form table on the second half of the season, with Stockport top and Gillingham second.

 

Stockport had an appalling result on Saturday in a banker fixture for them let’s hope it affects them

 

Yeah they really needed to win that and couldn't.

We know that pain.

 

It makes you realise that all the players will be nervous for these, potentially, vital three matches.

That's true, though in the past we've even managed to go up while losing a play off game (Blackpool, Burton Albion), so while I don't expect us to go WWW, we definitely have a chance.

There's really not much in it.

The only key difference between any of the 4 is Stockport's form in the second half of the season.
