Right, I'll tell you an anecdote.

In 1974 I was catching the London train from Crewe station. It was very crowded; I found myself in a last-minute rush for the one remaining seat beside a tall, good-looking man with collar-length hair, it was the seventies; buckaroo!

I looked up and saw it was none other than Peter Purves, it was the height of his Blue Peter career. He said, "You jammy bastard" and quick as a flash, I replied, "Don't be blue, Peter!" Needless to say, I had the last laugh, now feck off!

 

We usually have a chat with him at most games, always mentions how much he loves his grandkids and family. i know he comes across as batshit crazy at times but he is a decent bloke.

 

I know him well and you're bang on.

 

Edin must have lost a lot of weight then.

 

Southampton at home in the Simod Cup, two lovers a few steps below us in the Kop, just constantly tounge-ing (see, don't even know how to spell it!) and him titting her up.
I'm sure we won 1-0.

 

Charlie lives near me, he’s completely harmless and city through and though. Wears his city merch most if not every day and is always talking about the club with huge passion whenever I speak to him.

However, it is very apparent that he’s not 100% as it’s almost impossible to engage in a normal conversation with him, he often goes off topic mid-conversation and he's called me by different names when he sees me etc.

Disorder?
Surely... each of us that follow City have a bloody disorder.

 

I heard a rumour he had to report to Dave Dowse before home games to make sure he wasn’t too pissed before the let him in.

 

Millwall away one guy spent the entire 90 minutes stood facing the home stand stick fingers up at the millwall fans don’t actually think he saw any of the game

 

For about 3 seasons we had a guy sat behind us in the Kop who used to spend 90 mins abusing the players. We all get frustrated and can’t help the odd swear word coming out but this guy was constant and was never happy even when winning.
Few occasions fans around us nearly got into a punch up with him for telling him to shut up.
When questioning him his response was “I pay for my ST I’ll say what the f*ck I want”. Absolute moron he was. Thankfully he moved somewhere else a couple of years ago.

a group of about 7 or 8 that sat on the row behind - the 3 or 4 kids just sat on their phones talking about pokemon go or who had scored for liverpool, man city or united etc whilst two of the parents discussed their latest ailments and what was happening on coronation street. this was whilst the family that sat about half way down the row were guaranteed to arrive at least 5 mins into the match, leave once through the half and then 5 minutes before half time; then come back a couple of minutes into the second half and never stayed until the final whistle.

now i'm sat around those that moan when the ball in lumped forward, moan when trying to keep possession and seem to believe that they are still living in the '70s. i'd give anything to move back to where i was before! ha.

 

Ive an end seat and haven't had anyone next to me for years.
