If someone comes in with an acceptable offer then he'll sell. However, it is important that he sells to the right people as there are worse owners out there than him who could do a lot of damage and see our finances as a way to make profit

That will only happen once we're promoted. I'm 43... That won't happened in my lifetime as things stand.

The club is a shambles. Need professional people and an owner who knows the football industry in all departments.

We need a City fan to become a YouTube boxer. They make millions and then can afford to buy us!

I'm hopeful my 15 yo son will see us progress in his lifetime but then we have been in the bottom division for a lot of our existence !

This man is taking us lot for absolute mugs of a colossal magnitude.

He doesn't even have to run a remotely successful football club to have the fans turn up year after year en-masse. Heck, he can even run a club on the regress and he'll be sat there in Germany while we all keep him afloat. All the while we are being subjected to dismal on-field misery on a weekly basis overrun by a complete rookie and non-football people hired on the cheap.

We've had endless false promises from Rupp. We've made absolutely no forwards progression under him - we've only gone backwards in terms of league positioning and playing staff. The communication from the club has been abysmal on all fronts.

We're run like non-league fodder. In fact, non-league clubs are almost certainly better run than we are.

What an absolute mess the once proud Bradford City AFC are in.

We should be sustainable in League One. Continuing incompetence is preventing this.

Sustainability is a nonsense anyway. What they actually mean is not adding any debt.

When in reality debt = growth. Being sustainable means being able to service your debt not sitting there living month to month for your paycheck (or season to season for season ticket sales, in City's case).

I have a 250k mortgage. That's debt. But I can make the repayments so it's fine. This club needs to get its head round the fact that without leveraging sensible debt we will never grow.

The obvious difference is that you incurred your debt all at one time, and will now make repayments on it.

The football club incurring debt at all one time would be fine and manageable and sustainable, but it doesn't guarantee success, and generally isn't how it works either. You don't just buy debt once, the expectation is to keep spending even after you've spent.

So we could be looking at a club that is £0 in debt and in the exact same situation as if we were £5,000,000 in debt.

Money is easily squandered and wasted in football - and at this level, there's little need for it.

No, what would be better is if we had an owner who knew what he was doing and employed football people to run his football club. That should be more than enough to get us out of League Two.

Unfortunately there is stiff, stiff resistance to that from the owner, the board, and many fans for some reason.

Yes agree, it's not quite a like for like example but the principle is the same. And I don't disagree with the fact that whist we're in L2, the income generated is more than enough to get us out.

But what I do think is that until we're willing to invest properly as a club, then we'll forever yo yo between the arse end of the Football League.

    Yeah, agreed.

Most of all we need to get to the Championship level so we can actually keep our super talented young players that we end up signing, but never retain because we're a dross club.

Sure, it's great that we got a bit of money for the teenagers that left for Premier League clubs, but if we were where we should be, I'd like to think we'd have enough to keep some of them until they turned into senior pros.
