You're the Moron buying the crap he tells you.
It's way past a bit of sweet rhetoric from a smiling parasite to soothe the realistic fan.
You apologise your way into regular derbies with BPA I wont.

I accept that you have decided that the content of the meeting is confidential. That is your choice.

A lot has been happening at VP. Until today's announcement, very little has been said by the owners since the big 'sorry' on 12/9/2018.

Given that you met with him, I guess the conversation was focussed on City related events/issues. Did he ask for your advice? Is there any evidence whatsoever, that he has acted on your comments?

Seems little point in having a meeting unless he wants to check things out? Did you ask any questions yourselves? Did you receive any assurances things will be done differently?

I see we now have a 'consultant'. My understanding of the term, is that is someone who advises, but is 'external' to the management pyramid. There is no obligation for the owners to implement the advice and then after the consultant leaves often recidivist patterns of behaviour re-emerge!

I'm not convinced by that. We need to wait and see how this unfolds. JR was never the most vocal of co-chairmen when he sat alongside ML. Also, if you recall when R&R bought the club, JR was appointed as a 'consultant' to them with an undefined role and for an undefined period. I don't recall ever hearing anything from him during that time. Whether he will become more vocal now given his past track record in speaking publicly is a great unknown.

JR is not a front man. He prefers to work in the background. So it will be a change if he takes on that role.

To me I’d rather hear nothing from any owner. I never understood the obsession with it all.

They can go months without saying anything as long as we get it right on the pitch. If we start to do that I don’t want to hear from them again. It doesn’t help anything.

People make up what they want inbetween anyway

We’ve got Julian in. Let him do what he feels right and support Hopkin. And shut up until after January minimum. We don’t need to say their is money to spend. The proof is in the pudding when we sign players.

Your comments are only endorsed by PP departing surely he wouldn't have agreed with that
Again you are correct in the fact that ML was the vocal representative of the club and indeed weren't we struggling before ML came on board with his cash to save the club
A consultant is just that someone to offer opinions whether acted on is another matter
A very short lived appointment in my opinion

I'd love Julian to tell them what is needed is several non contracted players in before January no mater at what cost, as that is the only way it will give Dave Hopkin any kind of chance of staying within reach of 5 bottom,
Although Sunderland, Coventry and Portsmouth looked better football wise we got nothing points wise in return that can't be allowed to continue so maybe you will have to dig deep and hope in the short term it gives us a chance of saving this season from becoming a disaster.

If what we saw of an unfit Jim O'Brien was a measure of what Hopkin can bring in to start climbing the league I'm more than happy with his opinion of players.

He turned up at the Shippers AGM / supporter of the season do unexpectedly. I didn't attend by the way but have spoken to @cibasteve@cibasteve over email and on coaches. The talk was that James Mason had been invited and due to attend....and then Edin turned up. James didn't. Steve did say he had spoken to him and expressed how concerned the fans were about the direction of the club. He was evasive again apparently. So it wasn't anything formal at all and certainly not planned.

I take it then @Onside@Onside you, as a member of BB, were not aware of said meetings or asked to provide questions or thoughts on discussion points to Edin / The Club? At least BCST members were asked for questions and were included in documented output...

I absolutely agree @Onside@Onside. They either do or don't represent the membership of Bingley Bantams, a supporters group irrespective of whether constitution is to effect change or just provide travel arrangements.

I might as well set up my own Queensbury Bantams group and have 3 members and we get an audience with the Club....

The overwhelming feeling that I got from Shippers was that Edin only turned up because he thought James was gonna be there!!

I was asked via DM on here. However I was asked to keep it confidential. I did this, but my own view is that these type of meetings the membership should have been consulted openly and honestly I am not sure what it achieves to held privately. More especially in sensitive times like this when trust is seriously lacking, and disconnect between fans and Rahic.

It is mainly travel and social events, and money is raised for the club and charity events. I doesn’t really matter what it says on the tin, ppl understand that BB is a supporters club. I also don’t have a problem with the club asking advice from supporters club’s as to the best way forward, however I do have a problem with it being done privately. By agreeing to do that you are getting involved in Edins paranoia. I would see any owner who is asking for advice from supporters club’s as a positive move provided they are prepared to listen and take on board. Yes there will be things in there that can’t be done, but by discussing in an adult manner you gain brownie points for trying, and going out and seeing and talking to fans is a good idea, you have to be brave when things are not going well.
