No game of two halves. We were shit for 90 minutes no matter how radio leeds want to spin it.

 

I don’t know, but the countries leading goal scorer being loaned out to a rival is looking more ridiculous as time goes on. Bowyer hasn’t got a clue.

All this time off doesn’t appear to be doing us any good whatsoever. Sounds good, mainly because we have injured players, but the rest need to be playing. Mellor and Vaughan might have picked up injuries today as well.

 

Any half decent manager would get goals out of Doyle. It’s plain embarrassing.

 

His hands have been tied by Rahic's legacy with too many players taking big chunks of the budget up. We need to off load Mellor and Akpan unfortunately we have to carry Riley too. Had we shifted these then we could have probably kept Doyle.

 

I miss those days when we were tearing Chelsea and Villa a new ars e and people were moaning about how shite Hanson was.

 

I cant agree I watched most of the game on Ifolliw and without doubt we were the beter side second half.
It was hardly flowing football but non the less we were the better team, once again we fail to score from a one on one, Ismail should have at least worked the keeper.

 

No way were we the better side in the 2nd half. Plymouth had 3 or 4 really good chances to score and we had 1 - Ismail's chance. And after that effort we failed to even have a shot. We were dreadful mate.

Agreed hugely. We had the chance for Ismail as Dave says and we pressed, closed down well in the first 20 minutes of the second half but created very little bar a long range shot by AOC.

As the half pressed on, we gave up control of the game resorting to long passes from back to front and possession in all honesty. The press soon subsided and Plymouth took control of the game. Especially at set pieces, how many fecking times were we so slow to react to the short ball?

Canavan should have scored from the corner after about 70 and from their Mayor run the show, with a number of decent blocks and good saves late on.

 

We lost the little momentum we had when akpan went off for Devine. Akpan was doing well and then devine's introduction completely killed us. Another very poor sub from Bowyer.

Im hapoy were we are at the moment concidering our injuries this season.

Nicley placed for a promotion challenge players coming back games in hand, I'd say we are ahead of where most fans predicted before the season started.
I don't expect you to agree but I can live with that.

I just find him hard work in terms of his negative outlook on the pitch. We need more players in the box and needs to stop worrying about the team we're playing.

Yeah I said this yesterday at some point on these boards. Akpan played OK but Devine contributed nothing.

 

As @rogeredtart alluded to the season so far reminds me very much of Stuarts second season we are up there in the mix without playing particularly well, I agree its hardly been gung -ho football but as I posted players coming back from injury and possibly Doyle coming back can only be positive.
But without doubt where Bowyer has got us I wouldnt be happy to see us dall away and finish just outside the pkay offs.
