    Purchasing it is one thing, but running it would probably become a nightmare. Just think of some of the very different points of view on here, multiplied by loads!! :eek:

    Don't go there !! ;)
    Firstly we would need some 'structure' of dedicated personnel ........... Not sure we have any, as most are working.
    Secondly, a large cash pot to start, and a sizeable second for a 'rainy day'.
    The structuring of the 'Custodians' would or could prove to be a nightmare - add to that, all financial contributors would be entitled to a 'say' in decisions .......... Paying a mundane, but overdue bog roll bill could take months, rather than common sense, and just pay the £50.00 ffs !!
    An' that isn't even scratching the surface.

    For me ......... NO THANKS ........... Unless we have some (and many) serious backers on here ? :)

    Bradford Park Avenue tried it, not sure if it lasted two or three years but they have now reverted to private ownership due to ongoing issues and over spending this year. They have apparently used money that was planned to be used long term for their promotion push putting at risk their long term future

    Avenue will be alright Storck. If Roberts is worth what he’s meant to be worth he makes Rupp look like a pauper. He’s Avenue through and through so I can’t imagine he’d let them go to the wall. I am surprised he hasn’t invested more heavily though. Obviously a very shrewd businessman.

    He couldn't invest whilst it was a fans owned thing. But he has said the budgets will need to be cut going forward. He will not let them go to the wall but from reading what he has said he will not be putting a load of cash in either
