What can Rahic and Rupp still achieve from owning Bradford City? WOAP article

Strange way to start an article, basically saying he hasn’t done any of the investigation that he relies on, and doesn’t name those that have. Talk about covering your back

 

Pretty detailed, his business background is there for all to see, but his claimed football career is a mystery. A good snout he’s got, someone who knows Rahic well or can’t publish it in their own name would be my guess.

 

It is detailed. Just think it is strange way to start an article that has so much detail

 

Very interesting article and shows his business acumen to be suspect.He seems to of obtained numerous business qualifications but has shown he lacks hands on ability hence the company whose profits dropped 74% but then his successor restored profits.That says a lot and whatever football coaching badges he has would appear to be decorations for his office rather than testament to his hands on ability as an actual coach.

He knows football, well we know otherwise.

Imagine the grief ER would have got at Rangers had he implemented his strategies up there. Crikey, he got off light

 

Desperate to make a name for himself here Rahic as the saviour. He really didn’t need to. Spoilt it for himself. If he had taken a few steps to make us more professional backed our managers with a budget we would be in the championship now and he’d be a hero.

 

What if the plan all along was simply to asset strip? Rahic would be the perfect stooge for Rupp.
This would make perfect business sense…….buy a club in the black with a large season ticket income and a couple of players worth money…….use that money to pay off the purchase cost of the club in installments….pay yourself and your family large salaries……run down the club so that it is making significant losses and then write off your taxes against these losses. Then finally pay yourself back the share money you are owed writing that off as a loss and then walk away leaving the club to fall into administration.
This has happened so many times previously however is much harder to do if you are a british resident tax payer hence the money man being resident in Germany with his money registered in a protected company name. Sorry to be negative but for me the writing is on the wall.

 

I remember reading that when they got on board....Recall Stefan saying didn't really know Edin but got involved...Will have to look up the article.....

 

First I'm hearing about players not being paid? Anything to it?

 

If there is any substance in those rumours, which I very much doubt, is it any wonder the players are not giving there all.

Parker tweeted the other day that the players were being paid as usual. I assume they are paid monthly so I would also assume this week, month end, is where any fuss would be kicked up were anybody to be not paid.

 

He certainly plays like he's on strike.

 

Pay day for players is usually at the end of the month, so probably due today or tomorrow

You are correct. They didn't know each other. Rahic was looking for investors and was introduced to Rupp.

 

Reading that it looks like he's Jack of all trades master of none.
