    Love to hear Rogers but this album IMO is superb, they have produced one with Roy Orbison and that is a different take on his original vocals.

    Brushes with greatness... Once upon a time, Mum was Night Sister at Richmond Royal Hospital when a poorly-looking -- and hungry-looking -- young man came in to Emergency with lung problems. ER did what they had to do, Mum saw to it that the man was brought a sandwich, and off he went. He was the singer in a band, and she remembers him dreamily telling her that, one day, they were going to be big.

    Pity they could never find a good guitarist...;)

    Dead Meadow - Feathers

    Released in 2005. Loved the album when it came out. Played one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen, in the days when I could cope with a band starting their set at 11pm on a Tuesday night. Very laid back psych rock.

    Anyone got any decent recommendations? Just got Music Unlimited on Prime free for 3 months. I like pretty much all genres as long as it's decent (barring dance and cheesy pop). Thanks.

    With the lockdown and cooped up with the family it has been harder to get the time to listen to music and my appetite seems to have waned but on a recommendation from a fellow Tom Waits fan i have been listening to a bit of classical-

    Been listening to my vinyl collection and set a WhatsApp group up with family and friends. Some good tunes have been played.
    Believe it or not also listen to Pulse 2 when I am working in my garage/workshop.
    Last night my teenage Grandaughter sent.
