Watched the final. I would estimate that at least 40% of the corporate prime seats on the half way line were unoccupied.
Whoever they were allocated to, should be struck off the list and banned from ‘purloining’ tickets in the future!
In one of the prime football competitions, when ordinary fans cannot get seats to watch the game, it is an utter utter disgrace.

Today's final just epitomises all that's wrong with football in this country, one team thrashing every team in it's league week after week with multi million pound players where the wages for 1 player for a month could keep the likes of Bradford City running for a season....
Who honestly didn't know that the score today would be something like 6-0 and seriously who would want to watch that week after week...it's just not real...
Contrast that to all the fabulous play off matches we have seen so far where both teams had a chance of winning unlike todays borefest....

I watched it out of habit today, but knowing it was going to be the one sided match it was

I actually get bored watching Premiership football now. Give me a Championship game to watch any day.

One thing that maddened me today was one of the pundits said today is the last day of the domestic football season, try telling that to fans of the 6 play off teams.

Each club was allocated 28,000 tickets, which is about 80% of the capacity, on top of that another 14,000 went to volunteers at County FA's, charities etc.

There is no disgrace with the FA Cup Ticket allocation. If you want something to moan about take a look at the Champions League Final allocation where Liverpool and Spurs were allocated just over 16,500 each, less than 50% of the total capacity. Or the Europa League Final where Arsenal and Chelsea have been offered just 6,000 tickets each for a stadium that holds nearly 70,000 supporters (less than 20%).

Which they haven’t managed to sell out, so have returned a lot of them.

Mainly because the airport can only handle 15,000 a day.

An observation. I disagree. I do ‘moan about it’.

I am not bothered about the Champions League.

Fact was an immense number of empty seats at Wembley.

The empty seats in the corporate areas are mainly due to the free bar rather than people not turning up. If I were a neutral I think I'd rather watch the game on the giant TV's they have in that bar, and drink free pint after free pint than go back out after half time and watch the rest of the game with a bottle of water.

They could have a designated area for that and release more seats. What is the point of going? May as well watch it in a very upmarket hotel, with better food and drink.

The empty seats are the seats outside the private boxes and are accessed from the boxes, so if the box isn't being used the seats will be empty.

56,000 is just over 60% so they could offer a few more but I do agree with your points.
