Your credibility is in the toilet, so gloating at fans who have decided they have had enough does your resurrection no good. City played really well today, and tbh this wasn’t about the current team or manager this is about how this club is being run.

 

You would think we had won the league rather than beat someone 15th in league 2

Bobby will make us feck all cos he’s out of contract and someone else will take him to L1 while sparks sits there with his thumb up his arse

 

He needs a nice new long contract. Maybe he’s been offered one I don’t know, but Sparks’ policy of waiting to the end of the season is idiotic imo. He’s the sort of player that gives fans hope when there’s little to get excited about.

Take Pointon and Kavanagh out, and this is a bore draw. Graham did nothing but give in to the fans and let Pointon start. There's no chance Bobby would have played if the fans weren't on the managers' back. His tactics today were the same as normal, but luckily we had individual brilliance and helped that Tranmere were absolutely dog muck

 

The team played well. It was an enjoyable game to watch. We played attacking football an the fans got behind it. But its come too late though for GA to recieve any plaudits. Hes left our best bright spark on the bench for half a season, persisted with playing with a back 3, even if it meant Oyegoke an Ridehalgh had to play CB, Fecked up countless games at home with shit tactics an shit substitutions and only now, once the season is done, has he decided to make changes

 

This is why we need a football man (or whatever I'm supposed to label them as) making football based decisions

Give your head a shake we are no where near good enough far too inconsistent and the club does need major changes. Tranmere are where they are for a reason and so are we! I'm taking nothing away from a good performance and an entertaining match today but I'm nowhere near convinced to renew my season ticket.

Unless Rupp is really going to invest then we'll stay exactly where we are. He either needs to do what he says he will or find a buyer that will.

 

I'm being deadly serious. I've nothing against him at all and know that whenever he pulls on the shirt he never gives less than 100%. However, I said last year that it was time to say thank you and goodbye because I knew if he was offered another contract we would end up with him and Smallwood as the main 2 central midfielders again and that that would cause the same issues it did last season and so it has come to pass. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of Smallwood either and think we need better than both going into next season.

 

They play in completely different positions, so it isn't like for like. I think the point that was being made was had Alex Gilliead been fit the make up of the team may have been different. However I do agree that Bobby should be playing and gaining valuable experience.

 

To me Pointon is everything we should be looking for in a player. He made such a difference and caused them all sorts of issues. Him and Kavanagh were a right handful. Just need to tie Bobby down and get someone next season who can take a good free kick as we are going to get loads around the box.

 

Fans have been calling for Bobby to play rather than rot away on the bench. It's as if they have more of a clue than the manager.
