Just watching the Arsenal v Burnley game on TV and it got me thinking about a very strange incident at a City game v Burnley at Turf Moor, sometime in the early to mid 1980's.

It was after the game, they'd put on a football special, so the local constabulary were escorting a pretty large City contingent back to the train station.

I was towards the back of the escort, heard laughing and pointing from those in front. Got to a junction in the road, everyone was turning left. On the opposite side of the road stood a bloke. Long straggly hair and beard, probably 30's/40's.

Here's the weird part. He was wearing like a cape or a poncho and spinning around in a circle. So when he spun around his cape would rise up to just above his waist. He was stark bol£&ck naked underneath his coat so everyone in the escort got a good look at his tackle. Obviously an exhibitionist that got off on men looking at his junk, but it was a paticularly a weird way of going about it. I've always wanted to ask Burnley fans if he was infamous in the area and did it in front of plenty of travelling fans, or it was a one off.

At Halifax, a player taking a corner "to himself" cutting in and scoring. And it was given.

Was it like the one where the player putting the ball in the quadrant moves the ball then leaves it, pretending a second player is taking the corner. Then the second player, knowing the ball is in play can then dribble it towards the box while all the defenders wonder what is actually going on?

Huddersfield did that in a game against us at their place.Right in front of the away fans.I seem to remember being one of numerous fans who fell for it and screamed at the ref.
