Wednesday v Peterborough

Thought the ref was one of the best i've ever seen, let ALL the soft stuff go, amazing how quick they all got back to their feet .....

Peterborough bottled it, they were set up wrong right from the start and had no clue how to change.

Sit back, relinquish midfield and rely on two pacy wing backs . The were well marshalled, the man up front was as remote as Sibera, and 8 men at the back couldn’t cope with the ball being constantly slung in.

 

No zonal marking then

 

They were poor, just watched the other semi. Imho they were not very good , Bolton were awful for 85 minutes. Wed got to be favs on that showing?

They seemed to let most things go in the playoffs . I have watched most of them pushing and shoving, especially in and around the penalty box . It started at the Salford game and carried on through to last nights. Don’t expect anything different today. As long as it’s even handed we are fine, but why on Earth relax the rules just for the play offs ? Better for Sky?

If this match is indicative of div 3 football then we would have got mullered every week had we gone up this time ....
