It's short term but imo it's a great appointment. Someone who clearly cares for the club, has a wealth of experience at the level and is proven. With the financial situation they're in right now they certainly would struggle to attract better unless they went for an unproven, lower level manager.

Not sure that there should be the same level of hate for Huddersfield that we rightly have for leeds, Town are a respectable club barring the Kevin Gray incident

I thought Warnock would definitely give them a short term uplift at least. Thankfully it doesn't seem to be the case but I'm still not ruling them completely out, even if it does look massively difficult at the moment.

 

I wouldn't put it past him to keep them up. Might mean we could keep Rom?

Can an old gimmer be ageist though?

 

Where is the line drawn with regards old gimmers, as we keep getting told by governments they have to increase the retirement age because were living longer, at one time a 60 year old could be classed as an old gimmer, you only have to read on here what some of our older posters get up to, wonderful for people who are actually OAPs.
I'm a great believer in age being a number if your health is good, unfortunately if not it can deter what you can do but my outlook on life has changed little, I'm far more financially secure than I was which in turn allows me more options than it did years ago when I had two kids and a mortgage.
