It's short term but imo it's a great appointment. Someone who clearly cares for the club, has a wealth of experience at the level and is proven. With the financial situation they're in right now they certainly would struggle to attract better unless they went for an unproven, lower level manager.

I thought Warnock would definitely give them a short term uplift at least. Thankfully it doesn't seem to be the case but I'm still not ruling them completely out, even if it does look massively difficult at the moment.

I'm a great believer in age being a number if your health is good, unfortunately if not it can deter what you can do but my outlook on life has changed little, I'm far more financially secure than I was which in turn allows me more options than it did years ago when I had two kids and a mortgage.NorthernMonkey likes this. -
