    Suspected to be dead. Was on the passenger manifest for a plane that has crashed.
    Anyone surprised at this news?

    No, didn't think so.

    Its the other poor buggers on board you have to feel for, collateral damage I suppose but who in their right mind would board a private jet in Russia with him on the passenger list

    By all accounts a Wagner-owned aircraft; likely that the crew would be Wagner employees too, if for no other reasons than questions of security.

    It would appear that, in time-honoured fashion, the leader of the gang has had a rebellious subordinate eliminated in a very public and spectacular way. If not just the Prig but his second-in-command too was eliminated, so much the better for the world as a whole.

    Or it was all staged and he is now living out the rest of his life in luxury on a desert island somewhere. Just a thought
