    When we come down to Valley Parade we always buy tickets for the upper tier of the Kop.

    The public address system has become worse over the season. After the Swindon match I e-mailed the club to inform them that it is now useless and could present a health and safety problem. I got an immediate reply and was told that stadium maintenance would investigate straight away.

    As we won't be back until the Carlisle match please can those of you sitting up there let me know if has been sorted.?

    Stadiums have 2 different systems for the speakers so just because you can't hear standard announcements over the speakers doesn't mean that's what you'd hear for an emergency. When they make the announcements for the yellow team leader it is always much louder and more clear than when announcing the teams.

    Fair point as they may need a second set as part of the safety certificate. Probably best writing to the clubs Safety Officer and CC in Sparks. Only the back up set working defeats the objective of having a safety back up!

    Tannoy shocking in lower kop too. Best place to hear it is in the toilets for some strange reason

    No matter how hard I tried to listen to the interview with Edinho last home game I couldn’t make out a word, didn’t even know who it was until I came on here later and asked.

    Oh aye, don't worry, if the yellow or green team leader were sitting at home and listening to the commentary on the radio by accident, they wouldn't have any trouble hearing when they were needed!!!

    Makes you wonder why both PA systems don't perform equally. As you say the bleeding Gold team leader announcement could be heard on the ISS.

    Nothing was sorted in 2018 when many complained that they couldn't hear Steven Darby addressing the fans. It was also mentioned numerous times in 2019 when the club suggestions thread was going. Just a couple of weeks ago it was discussed when Edhino was on the pitch. I think Sparks promised some 'remedial' work would be done once. In truth the issue goes back much further than this. Nothing will have happened by the Carlisle game. If someone does bother to do an investigation they'll say everything's working fine (they've done that before as well).

    That's why I would like to hear someone's experience at Saturday's match. If it is still useless I will contact the person on the Bradford City staff who e-mailed me last week.

    I'm guessing, but do they test the system when no one's in the ground? If so that would give a very false result as there's so much chatter and other white noise going on during a match that makes a huge difference. I sit in the upper kop and I can never hear a damn thing.
