    WOAP reporting that the development squad is not entered into a competitive league this season, to save money.

    These wonder kids get to 18 and then just train.

    Surely that's the end of the master plan?

    We had a team in the Central League last season but not this season. Do we even have enough fit players for a development squad ?

    We dont even have a team for division one so its hardly a suprise.

    Who do we have who is classed as a "home developed" youngster? Im not fully au fait with the rules but i thought we had to have a number in the matchday squad now. I remember the story of NKP having a hissy fit when he was left off the bench instead of staunton and gibson doing similar because hudson was named. Does the that rule exist or was it just used as an excuse at the time

    We've never had a development team it was just a cover up for signing cheap young players to make up for the first teams budget cuts.

    I think we have to name one player in the squad who is eligible for the youth team or has come through the youth system.
    e.g. Sykes-Kenworthy, Hudson, Goldthorp, Devine, Staunton
