    Just had this forwarded to me.

    Looking back, then a lot of draws. Also beaten in cups at home!

    However as far as I can see it is just under a year since Port Vale beat us in the league.

    Gob smacking times we live in!

    I wait to see the myriad of views in respect of this statistic.:cool:

    Because of the grimsby postponement, City go into game 5 unbeaten.

    When was the last year this club was unbeaten after 4 games, must be a long while ago historians.

    With their list of injuries, we'd have gone into it 6 unbeaten if it hadn't been postponed.

    The problem with the word "unbeaten" is that it suggests you're sweeping everyone aside when in reality, drawing every game and going "unbeaten" all season would likely see you relegated from most divisions.

    Yeah.

    I think you can easily tell when a side is limping from draw to draw, but I don't get that from what I've seen.

    It would be lovely if we started taking the majority of chances and hammering a team or two, but I don't think it's a given; I see an industrious side that largely looks decent defensively (I'm more concerned by two reds at FGR than I am at 5 goals shipped against Lincoln).

    I think we're going to be a tough side to beat, but not in the manner of scraping one point after another.

    I actually went back to the record of City’s past fixtures over the last two seasons. I agree that I was sceptical. Have a look at our home results. As I say, in the league it appears that the last time we were beaten at home was against Port Vale! The article says in the EFL, so not other leagues. Have you any evidence that someone has a longer unbeaten home run?
