TV screening at games

The direct stream at the stadium should have no noticeable delay. The delays get introduced once it leaves the stadium, first when it goes from the broadcast truck, to the satellite and then to the broadcast centre. Then further delays as it goes from the broadcast centre to peoples TV's, that delay differs by how you get your TV as well (Get two TV's one with Sky and one with Freeview and you will see Sky's picture is behind. And get a stream of it and its even further behind as it has further to travel)

Sometimes though at stadiums, they will introduce delays so they can choose what to show so as to not cause problems though. Often for example they won't show a live stream of a sporting event on the screen, only highlights and anything potentially controversial won't be shown
