We're thinking of maybe going to Northern Ireland in the future but our lass has none of the usual ID requirements (passport, driving licence etc)
Can anyone shed any light on what documents (if any)are required for ferry travel?
    Thanks in advance.

Don't think you need anything for northern island as it's part of UK

I didn't need anything for Dublin 2 weeks ago. Obviously took my passport but I'm the gate they said it was a domestic flight so I didn't need it and when we landed back we didn't even have to go through passport control.
