I nearly cried when I heard some of the stunts Rahic was trying to pull off on behalf of Bradford City, the one with Luke Hendrie making Dave Baldwin look a mug after he'd tried everything to keep Luke at the club lowering the money we would pay for his loan from January to May was the last straw.
it slso looked like the last straw for several of the players at the time, I didnt agree with what some did but it was that incident that started the rot, screw with an individual and you can can get rid of them but several players was a large part of the start of his demise at the club.
Stuart said Stefan was always OK with him but when Rahic wanted rid after the Wembley final I was told Stefan backed Rahic, fortunately Stuart would not resign as Rahic had asked him to do.

Good to read. Sounds like club want to keep, the player wants the move but the club want compensating properly if he does move.

Seems fair. Ideally he stays. Don't see Tranmere coughing up £3k a week or a reasonable fee.

 

Which L2 clubs can afford Vaughan's wages, surely not relegated Tranmere.

It would be very stupid to send him out on loan again to a L2 club, but still be paying part of his wages.

No arguments if a L1 club want to get him as they should be able to afford him and he gets to play at L1 level.
He is a bit of a jinx for clubs though, recently played for us/tranmere/wigan/sunderland/bury and further back huddersfield.
Not all his fault, but he doesn't half pick 'em!

 

I thought he was a good player for us.
