    Didn’t realise it was a requirement of buying an away ticket that you know the stadium configuration and its capacity.

    No why would I? When purchasing a ticket that only offers one option, why would I care?
    The only time I pay attention is when both Seating and Terracing options are offered.

    I wouldn’t feel re-assured if I was you. It’s always a risk travelling to an away game without tickets in your possession. I remember the cup game away at Reading they sent the tickets on a supporters coach which arrived late, meaning fans on the coach and also the fans waiting for tickets missed a fair amount of the first half.
    If you can collect from VP I’d do that before trusting they’ll be at Tranmere waiting for you.

    I went to an away match a couple of seasons ago. Deliberately sat away from the centre in the block towards the corner. There was an elderly bloke with l assume his grandson sat straight behind us. Half way through the second half, the group immediately in front stood up. I couldn’t see. I asked them to sit down, they refused and were aggressive. My thoughts were that if I stood up, the old guy and his grandson wouldn’t be able to see. Caught between a rock and a hard place. :confused: Eventually had to stand.

    I've done it many times. The team takes the tickets down on the coach and you can pick them up from the Home teams ticket office. There's usually a separate window from the normal matchday sales and you'll maybe need some ID like a driving licence.

    I'm not sure. I've always bought over the phone as I've wanted to request to pick them up wherever we are playing so I'd probably give them a ring at some point just to make sure. Can't see why it would be any different to buying online though, it should be the same process.

    Unfortunatly not Rod, the lad who's driving is not a priority card holder so I'll have to wait till Monday ?, and pop down to the ticket office and get three seats together, not that it will make any difference if they are allocated or not, I prefer them not to be reserved then we can chose our seats.

    Agree but no need to call me a numpty :(, much better to have unreserved then as you say fans can sit where they like and no disagreements from the fans who arrive late and say your in my seat, and you point out you're seat has been taken by a 6'4" hairy arsed guy you aren't going to argue with.

    I'm saying if you go to away games be prepared that virtually all away followings across the country stand up. Pretty simple really.

    Well, irrelevant of the change to where away fans are housed, the fact remains we have more than enough tickets for a Tues night game and likely to be no problems in finding unoccupied seats together.

    Pretty sure it holds over 2500 in total but I imagine, as its the normal, there'll be loads of unnecessary netting blocking off a big chunk of the seats.

    We'll only take around 1200 anyway so plenty of room I'd guess.
