Just about to set off Home with the new arrival

 

Should have been in yesterday 06:00 - 18:00, let 'em see what a real 'shift' is all about.

 

Should have been in yesterday 06.00-1800 (including the 3 head coaches) sweeping the stands out washing the kit cleaning boots etc etc Just to show them that people do remedial jobs then spend their hard earned watching them
Maybe that would give them some perspective on life

 

Good to hear that they are training twice a day. Making a start at getting fitness levels up.

 

Their fitness levels should have been up by the start of the season not 5 weeks after just goes to show what a shambles and unorganised Collins was.

 

Nobody is saying he's the answer but despite what you might think, Chicksen is up there with one the worst footballers we've seen in recent years. He's awful. I don't know if Riley is any better but the fact that he's an unknown and is more likely to improve out of the two gives him some leeway.

 

Maybe they just need a piss up in Germany with the manager. Seemed to work last time.

 

yep, in the top 6 for a good while after.

 

the leeds manager has their players picking litter up after training to show them what some of their fans have to do to pay for the match tickets which so far hasn't seemed to make them too tired for their games

Was on comedy channel last week when mickey was here he brought pack lunches and fruit shoots out at dinner best trainer got a kinder egg

 

If you listen to some so called experts on here we could easily have been suffering fatigue after 6 games after Collins inexcusably mentioned fatigue as a factor in the losses. Doesn't help when your owner/manager/COO/ brings in a fitness coach who then buggers off like he did last time he was here. Professional athletes eh?

 

It shows what a complete shambles pre-season was. As stated most of the players were new to the club but they should have been assessed re fitness on their individual first day of training at Apperley Bridge and a fitness regime given to them to ensure they all reached peak level by the start of the season. This also should have coincided with a proper pre-season schedule of fixtures when the players should have been bedded in both fitness wise and playing system wise but we all know what an utter shambles our pre-season friendlies were. One of the criticisms against Collins is that he oversaw this shambles.

 

Don't be so mean! The precious little darlings were already fatigued before a ball was kicked on Saturday, the poor loves need a rest!

Nobody was questioning their fitness when they won the two league games. Sometimes a lack of confidence and questionable attitude can be mistaken for lack of fitness. I’ll guarantee you tomorrow those players on the field for City will not lack for fitness. Get the first goal tomorrow and they’ll look as fit as butchers dogs for the rest of the game.

 

It could be all to do with fitness that Hopkins is having them do double sessions, it might also be "I'm the governor now and until you do what I expect we will continue with double sessions" sort of stamping his mark on the squad.
