is it for real or just a Paddy Power PR stunt?

Have to say kits look far better without sponsors on the front, unfortunately the income is to important to turn down though.

Fair play to Paddy Power. That shirt without any sponsorship on it looks absolutely mint.

I see Town have been fined 50 grand by the FA.
Whilst I'm no fan of the doggies I'm in total agreement with PaddyPower that the punishment doesn't fit the crime. Especially when you compare it to the 10 grand fine handed out to Millwall for racist chanting.
As usual the FA are living up to their initials by having FA common-sense: wear a strip that makes you look like a nob - £50k. Let your neanderthal fans racially abuse someone -£10k. #noideaStop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... It’s worth the exception to the rule, it’s truly horrific. Despite the rivalry I’ve always thought they were a club with a little bit class. Been brought down a peg or two now.

Is this even legal? I thought the FA only allowed 200cm square area for sponsors?

The fixture list has also just been released. They start with Sheffield Wednesday at home then it's Ibiza away for Karen's hen do.

clearly a PR stunt from paddy power and town, they alluded to that a day or so before the 'release.' there are also limits on the size a sponsor / logo is allowed to be on a shirt.

The kids shirt would look better without the sponsor, but then youd just have a great big white line across the shirt haha

I am guessing that this is a stunt from Paddy Power rather than this being the genuine new kit.

If it is a marketing stunt then it's still in poor taste, they are still effectively debasing themselves in exchange for money. "Ha ha it was just a prank guys, I didn't really sell my own grandmother, I just you know, loaned her out for a few days and then I got her back, so it was all fun and games at the end of the day."

I'm sure Huddersfield Town are well aware of the rules and, when they launch their official kit later this week, it will comply.
It is a very clever publicity stunt which has worked very well for Paddy Power and, no doubt, earned Huddersfield some extra income. Whether or not it is in good taste, or morally correct, is another matter.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Interested Bystander likes this. -
Should of changed it to 'PuppyPower' dog botherers.

OMG really don’t like betting companies sponsoring sport tbh. Didn’t the club have any say? Surely they wouldn’t have let them do that!!
