    Taken from todays T&A interview with Stuart:
    “When I saw the players Bradford were bringing in, I genuinely thought if they get it right on the management side, they’ve got a team there to be worked with.

    “I was speaking to David Hopkin at Christmas and he was telling me how much some of the players were on. I just thought ‘wow’.

    “They’ve gone full circle from being a mid-table budget to one probably in the top four. But the squad have under-performed.

    And look where we bloody ended up.

    Nothing new. We had a great budget this year but an incompetent swine spending it. I've no doubt if we had a proper manager spending 4m this summer we'd have challenged for the top 2 given how poor the league is this year.

    It's fine spending a fortune on players and wages but if you've no clue what you're getting/doing then your doomed. We've built an expensive but imbalanced squad of players who may not have wanted to be here in the first place and probably only came for the cash. Reminds me of the second season in the prem. I really hope Rupp is happy to have a go next season and Bowyer knows what he's doing if they spend right there's every chance they can get a squad together that can get us up and have a go in league 1 next season!
