We all did it at that age. We regularly used to go swimming in chellow dene and the wharfe at grassington (the latter usually whilst hammered whilst camping).

Devastating for his family and the club. Has really struck a cord with him playing for City and me having a boy the same age.
An all too regular occurence when the weather is warm. I dont know what the answer is. -

Such a sad thing, heart breaking. The little lad was younger than my 3 oldest children, it’s incomprehensible for the whole family, but especially the parents. How often do we see these stories, youngsters in particular playing and swimming in cold water on a hot day. If only they could understand the danger. Devastating.

No parent should have to go to their child's funeral especially one so young. Heartbreaking. So sorry for the family.
