    Signed for us as a teenager from Barnsley's academy, I do recall there was a bit of a 'hype' about him.

    Fizzled down into non-league, and he's now signed up for Love Island, sacking football off at the age of 23.

    Claims he has an 'unwavering desire' to return back to Macclesfield Town after Love Island, but after all the glitz, glamour and money that will come with his reality tv stint, I'd bet my house he doesn't return to Macclesfield, or even football.

    They always seem to get some non-league nobody on that show, it's just weird that Tom Clare would ever have been at VP.

    Strange times, that Edin Rahic-assembled development squad was truly awful.
