In 2010 Simon Parker's Linked-In it says "I cover Bradford City on a daily basis as the football writer for the Telegraph & Argus newspaper. I also write occasionally about boxing and darts" Has he moved on now and also "writes for other local papers and football clubs on a daily basis as well, and has amongst other talents, crystal ball reading and being a prophet"?

No Grimsby Live has an article where all local journalists covering Div 2 teams forecast promotion and relegation.

Newport could only manage a draw.

Appreciate the up-date EB and do pardon my dry sense of humour :worried::worried:. No harm intended to anyone at all. I do wonder though how the punditry is fairing in regards our local darts and boxing leagues.

    So the teams punching.

    Morecambe - Sparks dream team
    Forest Green
    @CambridgeSean@CambridgeSean - Cambridge.
    Newport

All the above are in fake positions.

Cambridge won't finish in the top 3.

As I keep saying all eyes have to be on Morecambe for us. We can catch them.

Exeter and Salford are picking up form now but that doesn't matter. One can have Forest Green place and the other Newport or Cambridge place.

Looking at the fixtures, we have a mixed bag of fixtures. Of the most favourable, Exeter with goals aplenty, have Southend, Grimsby and Barrow to play twice.
With, in effect, them having 3 points more than us, I cannot see us finishing above them.

We may not finish above Exeter but if you look at the remaining fixtures for all the teams above us it becomes clearer. We do need to win our games but the teams above us can't all win as they are playing each other.

I agree, I think that run of three games will be make or break. Who’d have thought that in early December, by the way.

Wes was a bit of an odd one for us. Because of his Norwich playing days he lives about 40 miles from Cambridge. In the summer of 2019 he spent the close season training with us so there was lots of speculation he'd be signing for us. He then signed for the Newcastle Jets in Oz so lots of fans gave up on him. He trained again with us last summer and this time signed. And he's been an absolute revelation, lifting everyone's game. So if you've got some old pros living locally where pace has never quite been their thing but they are technically gifted and just love playing football....they need to be contacted!!

Ah, Podd the God! What a player he was - easily in our Top Five Hall of Fame Ever. Happily for him, he appears to be doing a really fulfilling job down in the Caribbean doing coaching, managing and football development work. Lucky them to have Ces Podd at the helm. Along with Bobby Campbell, my favorite City players ever.

    What?

    Ian McCall.
Current Patrick thistle manager. Midfielder who made 12 appearances for us in late 80’s.

Ah I know what you thought!!
