    It was something totally and utterly out of the blue ( no pun intended) . From memory it was a 30 yard screamer in the kop goal. We absolutely battered them and yet couldn’t score no matter what we did. Banks signed for us for the following season and rented a house about 50 yards from me whilst he was at City. I was stood in the paddock I believe in front of the gents loo, ( Those steps up to the back of what was the old stand still remain to this day.)

    It was,and Huddersfield were shocking that season including losing 10-1 to Manchester City who were just a mid table side then. Unfortunately they once again raised their game to beat us just as they did in our 98/99 promotion season.

    When our group left the Bradford End we all stood in that area right up against the wall giving the opposition a bit of grief.

    I liked the slightly higher vantage point on those steps. Not that I’m short but I had a clear 180 degree view. The West Indian, City home and away, chap with the ghetto blaster would have been to your left Dave. ( His name...brain has gone blank! Charlie?)

    In 2010 Simon Parker's Linked-In it says "I cover Bradford City on a daily basis as the football writer for the Telegraph & Argus newspaper. I also write occasionally about boxing and darts" Has he moved on now and also "writes for other local papers and football clubs on a daily basis as well, and has amongst other talents, crystal ball reading and being a prophet"?

    Appreciate the up-date EB and do pardon my dry sense of humour :worried::worried:. No harm intended to anyone at all. I do wonder though how the punditry is fairing in regards our local darts and boxing leagues.

    All the above are in fake positions.

    Cambridge won't finish in the top 3.

    As I keep saying all eyes have to be on Morecambe for us. We can catch them.

    Exeter and Salford are picking up form now but that doesn't matter. One can have Forest Green place and the other Newport or Cambridge place.
