Remember him as being around the same time as Eugene Martinez. So young. RIP

Crikey RiP….. Condolences to the family. A descendant of the East European contingent who fled the Nazi ‘s during the war.

Didn’t play many in the season or so he was here but a stalwart of the reserves from memory?

I didn’t know he played for City.

he was involved in the acadamy at Halifax Town in the 90’s (when they were in what is now League Two) and took me and a load of lads from the Bradford junior leagues on trial for several weeks. I wasn’t good enough to get signed up but I remember his name.

    R.I.P :-(

His Wake was held at Valley Parade in the 1911 Suite, which was a nice touch from the club.

Descended from immigrants that came to the UK during the Hungarian uprising after Russia invaded in 1957. Did a 2 year apprenticeship at City and had 12 starts in a breakthrough season in 79 (I think). Was apparently highly rated at the club and the decision not to retain wasn't really about his ability, I believe. Left City and played for several years at Conference level for the likes of Macclesfield, Accrington, Morecambe, and others. Also played for England schoolboys.

Spent several years coaching in the UK and US.

    You weren’t far off Kev!

Scored on his debut too, apparently. There must be so many people who’ve been through the club. So many people involved in playing, coaching support roles at the lower leagues. The strength of our footballing pyramid is what makes the game special in this country. If only the Premier League took a moment to remember it.

    RIP Tibby.

Why has the club not put anything about him on their website?
