    Worse thing is, in my mind anyway, is that the people who have been rumoured to be interested in buying the club, have got ties with or had previous ties with current club members and board members.
    Anyone wanting the buy the club would benefit greatly from it being in admin. It wouldn't take much a bit of collusion and the odd little nod or promise and im sure things could be made to look a little worse than they are and that admin is only option to get rupp out and get the club cheap

    Thing is though to go into admin would take Rupp to have walked away. If he doesn’t want it to go into admin it will not.

    So it's costing him a reputed 2m to fill the hole this season. Why would he chuck away his €6m investment in the club for that, either way the defecit will not be that much next season, we won't have the likes of Payne on his big contract .Yes I know we will still have players under contract but not at that level. He has no secured debts against the club, he is not a football creditor so there is no way he will get anything like his money back going into admin.

    I've no idea who might or might not be interested in some kind of takeover. But it's not as though forcing the club into administration via a 'technical' default hasn't happened before, now has it?

    Fortunately for Rupp, that particular route is highly unlikely and the route to administration is now his and his only to take. But certainly, a club in League 2 (however it got there!) would have a lower value than a club in League 1 and that may well force Rupp's hand if he wants to cut his losses and sell the club to another party at whatever price he can negotiate.
