Feather in the cap Park, I suppose you were nobbut a lad but a number of passes and the ball in the net in four secs really is hard to contemplate. Yes I was and remain sceptical of the claim, even more so when you see the recent real time vid of the direct shot and goal.

Thoughts?

 

A long time a go but Fryatts goal did seem remarkably quick. But looking at that video I would say that must have been quicker

 

Always puzzled me how Avenue were able to string 3 passes together without scoring.

 

Stop watches weren't as reliable in them days, as you say 3/4 passes and 4 seconds...........no way.

 

Keeper had a bet on first goal to be scored within two seconds and retired immediately after the game.
