So depressing but our players are without desire and skill. Plus we have to look back at the appointment of Bowyer and giving him full control of buying players. We then don’t sack him soon enough, so we are left with a very weak squad and asking Stuart to try and get us into the playoffs is fantasy.

We had an opportunity in the summer to try and get in a manager who could have taken us forward.

We had an opportunity to address the problem of having players without a backbone - but appear to have failed in the recruitment last summer and January miserably . January"s business was bizarre - Rhodes and Rupp appear to have written off this season then bit fail to be honest with the fans. Bringing Stuart back appears to be damage limitation on the impact on season tickets. The season to date being - dire - will see a greater reduction than than they want. 20,000k what planet were the owners on given what has been served up the last 3 seasons and the mismanagement of the club. The push in the adverts on next season ticket offer quotes "ambition" - I would like Mr Rupp and Rhodes explain what they are doing to back this up going forward.

Rhodes is there because he came into steady the ship and recruit a new CEO. As far as I aware he has no financial interest in the club. He will be taking instructions from Rupp. So he can advise all he likes if Rupp doesn’t want to invest he won’t. He is not here to plan the future, he is here to keep the finances in good order. I imagine he is frustrated as the rest of us.

However, in any event the club has not uttered a word about the plan for the future above and beyond the next few months. I am immensely frustrated concerning the lack of communication, and it is not fair on the fans. We have had the Bowyer debacle to endure, not a muff out of any of them. I just don’t think this this is a good way to run a club.

Is Rhodes doing the job for free? Has he found a new CEO? Did he hire a director of communications?

Point I am making is he is making decisions on the clubs future.

Said it before and I will say it again! A football club that thinks about finances 1st rather than football will always go backwards.

Rhodes is just running the club like Rhodes always his because he's a yesterday's man. Rupp is being extremely lazy! lazy owner! The worst owner for this club.. he needs to sell ASAP or bring his own people in and stop being like Edin.

When Bowyer was appointed, then as far as I am aware, he inherited Drury, and had no one else to assist him in building a new team. Now I may well be wrong, but unless someone has inside knowledge, then he seemed to do absolutely everything (apart from whatever Drury does), as there was/is no scouting team.

I understand that for a small minority, Parkinson was something of an anathema. However he seemed to have a system, and importantly put an emphasis on recruiting players who’s personality would add something to the team.

In reality McCall has inherited a composite squad, who’s mentality and skill set are not able, to create a calm, effective, attractive and consistent team, which is capable of winning games in an effective manner, so we can realistically push for promotion.
