Just hearing Park Avenue won 2-0 at Spennymoor tonight. Let's say they come through to the National League next season !. With us slumping back into League 2 them based on the fact that there's precious little between League 2 and NL ? There's a case for saying that at last both Bradfords clubs would be playing at the same level in 19/20 after 50 years apart !

They cant really afford to go up though. As mentioned in another thread, it seems the owner is only really interested in the land to turn into some sort of school and football academy.
Supposedly worth billions yet transfers and new wages are coming from an £11000 fund raised by fans. Promotion would make things slightly awkward for him.

I have a friend that was involved with Farsley Celtic when they got promoted to the National conference and we were in league 2 and struggling. He used to brag that Farsley are now only 1 league below City now. I replied that we're only 3 leagues behind Man Utd but there the resemblance ends. Like Avenue now they were struggling on gates of 300/400 ,they had overstretched themselves and imploded, there is a massive difference between the bottom of the National league and League two.
