    Speaking of the pitch, looked a bit thin in patches, especially outside the box at the kop end

    A guy I play table tennis with is an international sports pitch expert, who used to work at St Ives Turf Institute - judges FA pitch competitions, has been to World Cups and advises clubs all over Europe on pitch prep and maintenance.
    I asked him about what the club have done with our pitch this close season and he confirmed that it is standard practice.

    There is a thread and full explanation of what has been done to the playing surface if you search . Sorry I can’t recall what thread it’s in. Try search “ Torquay” or “ plainmoor “
