Not all paid in full by the sounds of it

Wonder if the club have approached this company and offered to pay the full amount? Keep them onside for future jobs

 

Thanks for the insight @wetherbywhaler, so now after that work on the pitch has been done how long before it needs doing again seeing as it was just a basic repair and it's again showing signs of bare patches,mud etc. I thought that after the work done last year it would be the end of all that and we would have a great pitch for years to come.

 

pitch always been an issue, will continue to be one unless main stand gets knocked down which is unlikely.

 

It is worrying, I personally would rather know, then you can properly evaluate the damage that has been done and cometo terms with it. We can only then move on, and know fully what our limitations are.

 

This can't be true. I was assured that Edin was providing us with a permanent solution when Mark and Julian had masked over the issue for years.

 

The pitch was @Keefly Bantam one of the plus points.

Clearly doesn't go to matches as he would of seen yesterday that the pitch is cutting up and a mess it places.

Considering the winter we're having is not even that cold I would be asking for a refund if I was Rupp.

The pitch is still a disgrace all considering.

 

The same areas of the pitch that have been a problem are still a problem.

That's my point mate it's not as it's been raining heavy or snowing for days. It's a mild winter and the pitch is cutting up.

 

I think one of the worst areas is the corner between the main stand and the kop. It seems a bit silly to me then that every half time we lay some cones out in that very area. Then our subs work hard for 10-15 minutes in that very consolidated area - it can't help

 

Been saying this for the past few weeks. The worst area is in the corner as you say yet pre-match warm ups and also half time drills take place on it. Why not go across in front of Midland Road where it must be better surely?

 

I know it sounds daft, but maybe nobody has told them to move

 

Not an expert on any of this but wasn't the project delayed a few weeks? Losing a few of the better growing weeks and thus the seeded grass didn't quite take as fully as we hoped. Hopefully the drainage part is sorted and reseeding or turfing can be done fairly sharpish once season is done. Hate to be negative but I don't think playoffs will delay it this year.

 

well that is a shock.

in the summer, when everyone was fawning over Edin fixing our pitch and spending 6 figures, I said time and again on here that it wasn't that much money, and it wouldn't fix all the problems we had. I was told I was just bitter and had an agenda against Edin.

once again I was proved right. absolutely con man and a charlatan, but hey, he brought the club shop back in house so we can't criticise!

You cant say it was partly down to james mason and then say it was nothing to do with him.. The statement was clear as day in fact much more clear than the retraction. It was james, but not james, but james mess after james had gone
