Because they’d still have an empty stadium at £149.
Most football fans in MK support Arsenal, Tottenham, Luton, Watford, Northampton or whoever they were supporting before they had a displaced club parachuted onto them. The population of MK is heavily based on families who’ve moved out of London so already have strong family club loyalties other than MK Dons. As @vin weasel@vin weasel pointed out, MK is half our size so their crowds aren’t bad. It’s highly unlikely they’d increase attendance much by dropping prices.

WOAP and BfB are very different. The guy who ran BfB and reckoned to be ITK is nothing to do with WOAP.

There’s no evidence of that happening. We’ve been mostly on the downslide since the Millwall playoff final defeat, with a string of managers playing boring football, but the crowds have still kept coming.

Yes, I do think it’s fair that a proportion of the away allocation should be initially available to City fans living away from Bradford who can’t get to home games or many away games. If they aren’t taken up then they can go on sale to those with loyalty points in the normal way.
I have a mate who is a City fan who lives in Bedford. I think it’s reasonable that he should be able to go to away games that are local to him. Last season he wanted to go to the Northampton game but couldn’t get a ticket. The current system is effectively a closed shop.

Of course you this is 'fair', because it would benefit you. I doubt you'd be happy with this if you were someone who lived in Bradford and attended every single away game.

The current system is very fair. And I'm saying that as someone who doesn't go to many away games and has missed out on a few due to not being able to get tickets.

Also, you claim that it's impossible for you to get the loyalty points needed to buy tickets. I'm pretty sure a lot of our Southern away fixtures have gone to general sale. Plus, I don't think that you need that many away games to qualify for some of the presales. I think it would be relatively easy for you to get to some away games if you wanted to.

You just come across as butt-hurt because you couldn't attend the one away game right on your doorstep.

Since the scheme was introduced back in 2007 fans have backed the club wholeheartedly yes it's fluctuated the odd coupled of thousand from season to season so I don't know why your using the above example, apart from the couple of seasons Parky got us up and Stuart continued in league one untill Bowyer took us down we've always been league two why would fans get bored and stop renewing, yes we all have our bellyaches but have still backed the club.

IMO anyone who is a regular away fan should buy the membership, straight away you get 100 points (5 away games of City points) and what's more they have even knocked a £5 off last season's price, it really is a no brainer.
I suppose if you have a family of say 4 it can become expensive then you have to weigh up the pros and cons.

I’m not suggesting what we are doing is wrong as such. My original point was that if Rupp isn’t willing to invest his money and our budget is short and holding us back then maybe it’s the fans that have to be willing to pay more.
However, as others have said, it’s unlikely that most of the fanbase will pay more and also apparently the budget is adequate so all is good.

Their chairman invested millions. Absolute chalk and cheese to what we have.

So let me get this straight. Your mate in Bedford wanted to attend 1 away game nearest to his home. This away game was at the time of the tickets going on sale possibly a promotion decider.
And you think he should have taken a ticket in front of someone who’d travelled up and down the country all season long?
Milton Keynes is very close to Bedford, will he be there

    Annnnddd the empathy strikes again.
Some of the comments on here are ludicrous! Points deduction? Scaring children? People telling the OP to grow up? Well then you get exactly what you deserve. Come up with a better idea rather than just coming up with stupid comments. Most of you will sit on your hands praying that Sparks gets the appointment right this time and that everything will all be ok in the end. It’s embarrassing.
I’d rather lob a few tennis balls on to the pitch to show how royally pissed off I am rather than do absolutely nothing.
Man Utd fans recently had a sit in for an hour after their game.. is that childish too? Should they just put up and shut up? Keep paying your cheap season ticket prices and enjoy having Sparks and Rupp laugh at you. It serves you right.

Wrong. Hoyle bought them in 2009, Ken Davy was chairman when they were promoted from the bottom tier in 2004.

No, but Jason was a big part of BFB, and it was him along with Michael, who met and interviewed Archie Christie. I worked with Jason at the time.

Well you didn’t mention which promotion. I’m assumed you were referring to the PL.
But if we’re going that far back, how much were our season tickets in 1996 and 1999?

Lol, I’d guess from the lack of response that the Bedford bloke won’t be at MK Dons on a cold wet Tues night but would like the ticket office to put a Salford ticket to one side for him just in case there’s a late promotion push.

Why don’t all the men sit on the pitch with their ball sacks out!

That really would make the world take note that Bradford City fans are not happy!!
