In June 2016 I checked out the website for Edin's scouting network, Talentconcept.
This was the company he supposedly owned and was mentioned in a few British and German (not being a xenophobe, they have newspapers too) articles when he first came to the club.
The "Under Construction" sign was there over two years ago. It is still there now.
Perhaps there is nothing to be read into this.
Perhaps there is but I thought I would share it as it rang alarm bells to me back then. Couple that with everything that has gone on since and I find it hard not to question his legitimacy and integrity.
I thought maybe the website was getting a facelift due to him taking over at City but I kept checking and have done regularly since, but the website is still under construction. Over two years later. I'd be having a word with that web designer now if that was me!
I was excited to see what fresh, young, hungry players we might be snapping up from the Continent and which raw gems Edin's vast mine of talent would be unearthing for us.
Then I saw Vincent Rabiega play and it all sunk in.

Both good questions and I am not able to answer them as I am a luddite in all things business and web design!
Talentconcept was the scouting company he was quoted as owning at the time and I just find it worrying that when you search that web address the most you find is some newspaper advert articles from 2017 advertising open trials for junior players from the Stuttgart region with the chance to join Bradford City's youth setup. The email address to contact is quoted as "er@talentconcept.de"
Presumably he is still using the company in some capacity? Whether it has ceased to (or ever did) trade, I'm not sure.
Maybe this is something an investigative journalist could look into?

 

Nothing directly. He was however, the first of many, many shocking signings brought over from Germany to suppliment the squad.
He was merely used by me as an example of what we got, rather than what we perhaps expected from ER's assertion that he "knew football." I for one was excited. Rabiega was the first example of our misguided recruitment policy.
I am merely raising a concern that Rahic was quoted in the papers at the time that talentconcept.de was the company he owned but there isn't much out there to suggest it was ever anything more than an idea.
A good metaphor for the way he's been running City since June 2016?

 

I had the same issue. All I could find was that article and one other.

 

I'm sure with his way with people and reputation for integrity, he would have no problems there!

I might buy it then try to convince a rich playboy millionaire "I know.........something" and get him to lend me millions of pounds to piss up the wall!
