It would make sense I suppose, as neither Rupp or Rhodes like the limelight and someone had to take over mouthpiece duties

 

Yep Rhodes came in on an interim basis when rahic left. He spent 18 months looking for a replacement and chose Sparks

I see the Stevenage chairman has said that due to fresh investment late in 2021, they are now able to 'compete for any league 2 player they want'. He wouldn't reveal the source of the investment, but I wonder if it's the crypto guys - wasn't one of them pictured on a return flight to the US wearing a Stevenage shirt?

Possibly. Though he'd have to weigh up the implications on his return, if and when this club goes into the non League.

Either way, it'd certainly colour how some fans view his suitability as owner.
