Can it be better than where we are at the moment then the answer is yes. But... we can be much, much worse off than being a sustainably run club in L2 or L1.

Its all about knowing when to buy and sell (like regular shares). I've a good friend here in Estonia, who has built up an online betting empire based around bitcoin. His company is now worth 120 million, and he's the shirt sponsor of Southampton and before that it was Watford. Also the main betting partner for Arsenal. There's money to be made (when I first met him 15 years ago, he drove a Lada. Now he has a private jet parked up in Tallinn airport, and a yacht moored in Dubrovnik), and he saw football as an opportunity to get into the Asian market. If you've chosen to "cash out" when the time is right, then you only see a price collapse as an opportunity to buy more at a lower price. I admit, it's confusing, because it's something that has become everyday language to many, only because of its mystery. I was very dubious at first, but once I took the leap, I realised that it makes much more money than having the money sitting in a bank. But only if that is money you are prepared to lose. And therein lies the problem. They could come to City, thinking they could be a success, but if they aren't, then other opportunities will come along in another guise. That of course, leaves our club back where it started, or worse. I'm hoping they have a very sound financial team supporting their decisions.

Think of them as shares in a company. If the price drops, you still have the same number of shares but they are now worth a lot less. In the case of a crypto, that means you can buy less with them.

I'm not sure what all this talk of 'legacy' is, or 'bringing back glory'.

This is Bradford City, there hasn't been any glory since 1911. There's been the odd promotion, a brief flirtation with the Premier League, a cup final we got hammered in (albeit it was a tremendous achievement), and that's about it.

If someone is buying this club, via whatever means, please don't treat us like idiots. You aren't bringing glory 'back', so can that shit, we're not fools. This club is a Championship-sized club that is rotting in League Two due to the last ding dong that came along, bought the club, and sunk us.

As for 'legacy', can the jargon and just respect the club, that's all.

Don't be a group of asshats that try to call us Bradford Broncos, don't change the mascot from a bantam, don't change our colours, don't try to reinvent football, and certainly don't try to reinvent Bradford City.

Work with the club with good intentions and we'll be fine.

The only worry I'd have of any takeover like this is if some people who have never been to Bradford are buying NFT's and funding the club from afar and then making stupid demands about what colour the stadium is or how a new club badge would be more in line with other NFT-based sports entities.

These things are the only 'legacy' this club has, outside of our history and the passion of our fans which is ours alone, and which nobody can change - so there need be no more discussion about maintaining something beyond the reach of any investor or buyer.

If we're the club, I'd imagine that talk of 'respecting our legacy' is in relation to the fire tragedy.

    100%

Worries me that the survey a few months ago, was instigated with this takeover in mind. Suddenly, the forthcoming fans forum is going to take a different turn. Unless of course, email entries have now closed, and they stick to the chosen questions (farce if so).

It might be pure bol@@@x but it’s been fun. We should n’t let fear and ignorance cloud our judgements. All new idea’s are received sceptically and all new young millionaires have been told you’ll never make it. Bitcoin makes no sense to me. Neither does driverless cars, artificial intelligence or FaceTime and what the hell is a QR code? I don’t know but it works!
Dream on and let’s see how it pan’s out. Some clever brains will work it out. All I know is it’s made me want to go to Carlisle.

What happens if there’s a global pandemic and your pension fund collapses the week before you’re due to retire?
Investing in any kind of stock market activity is risky. crypto is higher risk but the rewards also can be greater.
If you don’t understand it just stay away from it and keep your pension under the mattress mate.
But some people do understand it and have made and still do make sizeable gains from it.

    Same with xG, Loyal.

these mad yanks who have invested in cryptos are mad on analytics and said they will partner with stats bomb.

everything they do is based around analytics, like xG.

    its the way forward
