    The interview with Crawley's new co-owner was an eye opener for me and an enormous contrast with our own position. I could never imagine either Rupp or Sparks sharing their ideas on the club's future and accepting the level of accountability which goes with it as Preston did. Anybody who still has misgivings about the club being owned by people who have made a fortune in crypto or NFT's should feel reassured by the interview. Crawley won't be investing in cryptos despite what some on here continue to believe! Crawley won't be selling NFT's for their memorabilia to their current fan base. They will however be trying to create a bigger, non-local supporter base from within the NFT community. It's not a unique model, not dissimilar to what Peter McCormack is trying to do at ickle Bedford, but does offer something different.

    Will it be successful in the EFL? Who knows but much will depend on the talents and experience of the new owners and their management team. It seems to have a much broader range of ideas and expertise than a typical lower league club. I give them more chance of being successful than us whose owner shows little interest in investing more to take the club forward. I wish the new owners well. Maybe we can learn from some of their ideas!

    Hi Idle, I don't know if it's a stupid rumour or not, I saw it on Twitter last night on the 'Official' BCAFC site saying that Rupp had agreed a deal with Malik to take over the club and that further details would be available soon.
    Now maybe this ol' lad has fallen for a silly joke I don't honestly know, but the City site did seem to be genuine.
    Personally I'm not too sure if Mr. Malik has the necessary funds to run the club?
    We will see!!

    I don't do Twitter myself, but as some have pointed out on here, appears to be false account quoting the Malik stuff.

    I doubt Rupp would name anyone until a deal was finalised. Rupp had to publicly comment on the Crypto guys due to them being so unprofessional in how they went public and infiltrated this site

    Helluva scathing attack on many of our fan's choice for a takeover, Daragh McAnthony, in the local Peterborough newspaper.

    I have never read an article lambast a chairman such as this before.

    Apparently the journalist and DMac have history and I believe Dmac will be giving his side on the next Podcast tomorrow

    Well worth a read. Sorry not good with links on my phone, but easy to check out at Peterboroughtoday.co.uk.The article is dated last Sunday
