    @Fordy117 feels the need to tag some members in every post he creates

    If this is getting on your tits you can opt out of this feature , unfortunately you will no longer recive tags from anyone - but for some it may be worth it

    Click your name above right
    select alert preferences
    Untick mentions you in a message

    You should then be free from this evil

    I tag people in because I am talking about them or mentioning them in a post.

    I'm not two faced.

    If people don't like it then do what @king karl has suggested.

    @Fordy117

    Theres no reason why a member should get 20 plus notifications every time they log in

    You can mention names if you must without tagging every time.. its irritating members

    That's fine... I get a fair few. I don't mind though as if someone is talking about me I would rather know.

    Maybe, though I don't mind being shot at clearly unlike some.

    Suppose the people that moan should check out their sources before getting embarrassed by the manager of the club the next day.

    Or the other person I think might of complained is a 1st degree WUM who was a WUM or a former site and everyone knows he is. Who makes a fool out of the mods with his sly ways that he feels goes under the radar.

    If it's people complaining that are connected to the club then make sure communication lines are improved between the club & the fans. Tell us the truth of our owners intentions.

    I've nothing to hide. If someone wants to tag me in a post in a positive or negative way then it's fine by me.

    Seriously people, if you have an issue with someone tagging you there is a really simple way to stop it which most people will respond to and that's to ask them. If you are in a conversation with someone its not unreasonable for someone to tag you but if you feel you are getting overwhelmed and just ask rather than complaining to admins you will generally get the response you want. Complaining to an admin most likely just gets the person who tagged you back up (as we see from @Fordy117 replies here) as they then think they are getting a lecture when a polite request wouldn't and it prevents any passive aggressive hostility growing
