The TA writes the same stuff nearly word for word as
YP so makes no odds.I won't pay to read the doom and
gloom that is City at the moment.

 

I only ever read the City stuff when I can be bothered to navigate the totally intrusive adverts. The newspaper in general is poor quality journalism. I get my news from TV and Online.

 

I delivered it as a lad along with the sports paper. Still buy the paper yes its crap but my football team is crap.

Exactly bantamlad, there's some rubbish on there that we are close to being relegated. Where do they find this rubbish!

 

Lol, as @Yorkieman said I was referring more to general news.

 

It’s pitiful, you look at some of the headlines and think they’re written by a 21 year old click bait expert. Woman crashes her car and here’s what happened next. Or articles have been copied from the Police Twitter account and embellished slightly. Local newspapers are in decline, but they won't fix that with sub standard journalism, no I can’t even call it journalism, just poor writing, a slow web site with pop up videos of stuff I’m not interested in and wall to wall adverts and then charging you for it.

 

I feel sorry for journalists having to report on City matches, who'd have that job, and whatever you say about the T&A it's one of the biggest selling parochial newspapers in the country

 

There was a great story in today's T&A. The headline was:

Man in Bradford city centre fined for illegal parking

It was about a man who got a ticket for parking on the zig zags over near Forster Square station whilst he nipped to the bank. The horror of it. Have you ever known anything like it in your life. And this was in Bradford too.

Talk about a non-story.

It's sad as the T&A used to be an excellent paper and had many great journalist and a very capable backroom team and their printing presses on Hall Ings was amazing.

 

I'm sure the job is much easier when the team are winning.

Saying the manager and club are not giving up on Jake, reading the article it looks like the surgery he had last April is taking some getting over, he would be a very welcome addition if they can get the lad ready physically and mentally for next season.

 

Usually if a player has an operation and it doesn't cure the problem he has a further one- tennis andy murray springs to mind.
As Reeves aint right it does beg the question.
Or cancel his contract on injury grounds and move on.
