Some say when a players going through a bad spell you either drop him or play him back into form, I believe the latter to be the case with regards Smallwood .

 

Very true, but surely we should have been able to suss that out before we signed him ?

 

He's been on trial at Sheff Weds for a few weeks now. Seems like they are going to give him an offer until Jan.

They have Lee Gregory and Michael Smith who are at best L1 standards at this stage in their career and can't hack the pace of the champ. They need a quicker forward but it's another older head. Gregory is 35 and Smith is almost 32 but both are more target men and Munoz wants to play it on the deck.

If I was to revisit it I would increase Paterson only by a few. The rest I still think will be under 5, including Tulloch who I think is very good addition.

 

Did his cruciate last season. Being helped with his rehab by Newcastle.

He looked a decent prospect whilst at Mansfield, I think he scored at Valley Parade when they came down last season.

I can’t remember Morris for us at all. Can’t have made much of an impression.

 

Slower than our midfield? I can’t believe that. Even at walking pace he’d be quicker than McD and Smallwood.

 

Never really repeated it though Serg and we had Reid on the left so I don't feel like we missed out much, if at all.

 

Should and would are two different things. I agree I like him but I try to be realistic.

Sounds like he wants to meet the people who printed the story.....

 

Reading the story i'm warming to the guy already. I think Sparks would benefit from having someone who is hands like Morfuni is, would take the pressure off and pair with someone with a real passion for it to succeed.
