Suited and booted!

He could walk out stark b0llock naked for me - all I care about is that we win, and I don’t care about the ‘brand’ of football either!

 

The whole team could learn a lesson from my grandson, who has to wear a shirt, club tie and trousers following every Sunday U14 game in Rugby, at lunch time.

 

I know many will say it doesnt matter. But to me the manager should always be suited and booted on matchday, not dress like one of the lads in training ger. It just gives off that air of authority and respect required. Loved Gareth Southgates attire during the World Cup for example

 

He’s growing on me more and more with each day.

I really hope he succeeds. He’s got the right ideas. I’d have him next season regardless.

folk such as @Park bantam were crowing when Grayson had the squad rock up in suits on a match day, basically saying it meant we'd win the league.

i told him it didn't matter what they wore, doesn't make a difference on the pitch. I was proved correct.

Being disciplined and smart does matter in life. And it matters for sportsman to if you have pride in yourself you are in a better position to achieve

Under such circumstances I believe he would prefer to be referred to as Mr Bowyer rather than Gary in order to avoid an impression of familiarity that could prove uncomfortable. It's a clear message that he's in charge. Just hope he doesn't bring a brolly.
