I think Banks was brought in by Stuart (can't say for sure) and he was the one who recommended Doyle for £1

 

No doubt Nicky Law will be checking his text messages constantly!

Just a shame edin didn't back Stuart last summer by signing the likes of Payne scanell and Doyle. Last season could've been so different.

 

I think its called "cutting off your nose to spit your face", it was well documented during the closed season things weren't right with regards Edin and Stuart, so Edin bided his time until Stuart hit his first bad sequence in 18 months as manager and Edin gave him the boot.
We are now as a club paying for that foolishness, but then to quote the present coach will not be automatically sacked if he losses 10 games is a bit ironic.

 

That's tough gig out there for SM for sure.
Their chairman has splashed the cash over the last 2 seasons and now wants results.
I believe SM is under more pressure as he doesn't have the history with SUFC that he did/does here.

 

Disagree, he'll do well there and it will be the first result i'll be looking out for....

Agree entirely. He should have taken us to the Championship, basically 2 kicks away with Billy Clarke missing and Morrison scoring and then the man 'who knows football' decided to decimate the squad, reduce the budget and not have the balls to sack him.....look where we are now....clown.....
